We are proud to announce the acquisition of the Letter of Approval (LOA) for our H1000 AATD simulator, making it able to certify the simulator from the factory. Valid until February 2029, it will provide operators with confidence in its long-term viability and compliance with regulatory standards.With its authorization based on FAA regulations, this unit is suitable for a wide range of flight schools and operators seeking to enhance their helicopter pilot training programs.

This unit features a cockpit based on the Bell 505 helicopter, complete with a replica of the Garmin G1000 avionics suite developed by Entrol. Designed for single-seat operation with the option for a co-pilot seat, the simulator provides an immersive training experience tailored to meet the diverse needs of helicopter pilots and offers unparalleled realism, versatility, and customization options.

One of the standout features of the H1000 AATD simulator is its advanced visual system, which provides both TV-based and cylindrical projection with a field of view of 200ºx40º. Additionally, the simulator’s extensive database allows clients to personalize their training scenarios according to their specific requirements.

In addition to its core features, this simulator model also counts on a wide range of optional enhancements, including the vibration system and expanded visual capabilities.

Already, two units of the H1000 AATD simulator have been installed at the US Training Center in Dothan, Alabama, where they are being used by the US Army to train cadets and prepare future helicopter pilots for their aviation careers and two more units are slated for installation in the
facilities of another Entrol’s client.

The visual system of this flight simulator is characterized by its spherical display with a field of view of 200ºx70º, augmented by a robust database. Notably, the simulator includes specialized enhancements such as high-resolution areas with geo-specific terrain and satellite imagery covering 20 km x 20 km, as well as a general area spanning 500 km x 500 km. Additionally, counts on a rich range of 3D objects and areas, including elevated helipads, mountain spurs, water areas, and iconic landmarks, which further enrich the training environment.

A standout feature of the simulator is the inclusion of an external hoist operating station with virtual reality capabilities and motorized cable operation, marking a significant advancement in training technology. This innovative addition enhances training realism and effectiveness, particularly for missions such as search and rescue, offshore operations, and mountain rescue scenarios.

Installation, certification and the start of training activities have already taken place, reaffirming Entrol’s commitment to deliver state-of-the-art training solutions on schedule. Air Greenland, known for its prominent location in the region, will benefit significantly from the enhanced training capabilities offered by the H15 FTD 3 flight simulator.

The company is currently constituting Entrol America, a fully owned subsidiary, where the firm will be offering services to its customers in the continent .Entrol America will count on a team of product engineers trained at the company’s headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

Entrol has sold a unit of its en-4000x FNPT II MCC simulator to Canavia, an aviation academy with more than fourteen years of experience located in the Canary Islands, Spain.

The en-4000x is a generic simulator that offers up to seven different configurations and has been acquired by the company in order to enhance its pilot training program.
This unit is equipped with a MEP G1000 and JET (based on the Airbus A320 aircraft) configurations, and a cylindrical visual system supported by the X-Plane 11 image database, allowing students to experience highly realistic training.

Its sale took place in December 2023 and was followed by factory acceptance testing in January.The unit was prefabricated, so it was ready for final factory testing in just one month after purchase and the The installation of the simulator at Canavia facilities was completed two weeks ago.

Entrol has delivered three Bell 505 configured simulators to CAE Defense & Security in support of the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Rotary Wing (IFT-R), Introductory Flight Training at the CAE Dothan Training Center.

Entrol was subcontracted to deliver two H1000 Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) devices with the Bell 505 configuration and one Bell 505-based Flight Training Device (FTD) Level 5 unit. The simulators are equipped with a full G1000H replica developed by Entrol, making the transition from the simulator to the real helicopter as smooth as possible.

CAE was awarded the USAF Rotary Wing, Introductory Flight Training in June 2023 to support the U.S. Air Education and Training Command and provide critical flight training to USAF student pilots as part of the Helicopter Training Next program. The program supports the training of all initial USAF rotary-wing air, ground, and simulation training.

For the second consecutive year, the company – which will be located at booth 8041 and at the Static Display S56 – will participate in this exhibit with a reproduction of its iconic Entrol H11 FTD Level 5 model, based on the EC135 and with Dual GTN 750 in the cabin, of which it has already sold 18 units worldwide. The installation of this simulator at the show will be completed with three large screens and the brand’s realistic vibration system.

A unit that Entrol will transport directly from its showroom in Denver (USA), located in the facilities of the partner of the company, Sunny Aviation. The Entrol’s H11 FTD Level 5 model is equipped with a high resolution spherical vision, the latest technology in Mixed Reality, and it is certified as FTD Level 5 by the FAA in the company’s own facilities.

Entrol plans to attend European Rotors, in November, and ITSEC, in December, with simulators as well.
