AFN, one of the best known flight schools in Spain, located in A Coruña, has acquired from Entrol an en-1000 FNPT II simulator.

The en - 1000 is a reconfigurable simulator between SEP and MEP, equipped with GTN 650 and an interchangeable cabin between anaologue and glass.

This is the third simulator acquired by AFN in order to offer to their students the best simulation technology and to comply with EASA requirements for PBN training.

In the words of David Fernandez, AFN´s Head of Training: "After more than 20 years in pilot training, in AFN we know that one of the keys to success for our students is the actual IFR training that we offer at our school, we must also adapt to changes and new technologies, like the PBN, without compromising the essence of instrumental flight. For this reason we have chosen the en-1000 from Entrol."
