Entrol sells an en-1000 FNPT II simulator to BATS Aviation.

BATS Aviation has purchased an entrol en-1000 FNPT II simulator that will be installed in Malaysia.

The en-1000 is SEP / MEP reconfigurable. It will have a debriefing station, and it will include a tablet for IOS remote control. It will also feature a 180° x 40° cylindrical visual with three projectors.

Amiruddin Mohd, BATS Aviation's safety manager, explains why they chose entrol: "BATS Aviation has chosen Entrol as it is a responsive OEM with in-house technology and production. The en-1000 simulator is certified by EASA for various type of aircraft, being suitable for a flying training organization like us."

BATS is located within the vicinity of Lapangan Terbang Sultan Azlan Shah, Ipoh, Perak. The Ground School is located at Wisma Octagon Ipoh. BATS' students' accommodation is within the same premise, making it very conducive for them to access the library, cafeteria, and exam room.

They will use the simulator for their PPL, CPL, IR, ATPL and MPL courses.

BATS key personnel is an all Malaysian Management, Head of Training and team of Instructors, with a combined experience of more than 100 years in aviation and aerospace. They are skilful, especially in the following areas:

• Commercial aircraft Full Flight Simulator Level D from the leading airline in Malaysia
• Authorized Synthetic Training Center for AW139 helicopter Full Flight Simulator AW139 Level D training
• Management of flying academy in Malaysia

The en-1000 FNPTII simulator will be installed the first half of 2020, being the second Entrol simulator installed in Malaysia.
