Bell 206 B3 FTD Level 5 simulator was installed in June for the Chilean Air Force

Nº9 Group in the Pudahuel Base.

Grupo Nº9 performs, among other duties, the training of all the helicopter pilots of the Chilean Air Force.

The acceptance tests have been completed and the simulator will be used for the initial training of new pilots in IFR, CRM, normal and emergency

procedures as well as the recurrent training of instrument procedures.

The simulator has GPS, HSI, RMI, autopilot and all the elements necessary for the practice and check of the IFR procedures.
