Entrol obtains the Letter of Approval for its H1000 AATD flight simulator



We are proud to announce the acquisition of the Letter of Approval (LOA) for our H1000 AATD simulator, making it able to certify the simulator from the factory. Valid until February 2029, it will provide operators with confidence in its long-term viability and compliance with regulatory standards.With its authorization based on FAA regulations, this unit is suitable for a wide range of flight schools and operators seeking to enhance their helicopter pilot training programs.


This unit features a cockpit based on the Bell 505 helicopter, complete with a replica of the Garmin G1000 avionics suite developed by Entrol. Designed for single-seat operation with the option for a co-pilot seat, the simulator provides an immersive training experience tailored to meet the diverse needs of helicopter pilots and offers unparalleled realism, versatility, and customization options.




One of the standout features of the H1000 AATD simulator is its advanced visual system, which provides both TV-based and cylindrical projection with a field of view of 200ºx40º. Additionally, the simulator’s extensive database allows clients to personalize their training scenarios according to their specific requirements.

In addition to its core features, this simulator model also counts on a wide range of optional enhancements, including the vibration system and expanded visual capabilities.

Already, two units of the H1000 AATD simulator have been installed at the US Training Center in Dothan, Alabama, where they are being used by the US Army to train cadets and prepare future helicopter pilots for their aviation careers and two more units are slated for installation in the
facilities of another Entrol’s client.
