At Entrol, we have reaffirmed our commitment to sustainability and reducing CO₂ emissions in our operations, with the ambitious goal of reaching zero emissions by 2025. This initiative aligns with sustainable development objectives and is supported by “Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica” and “Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia”, financed by Next Generation EU funds.
Thanks to our sustainable practices, including the installation of photovoltaic plants for self-consumption, we have been awarded this funding. The support, managed by “Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico”, recognizes Entrol’s investment in renewable energy infrastructure, which now generates a significant portion of our annual energy demand, reducing our carbon footprint.
Progress toward clean, self-generated energy consumption
Currently, our photovoltaic plants cover approximately 56.6% of our annual energy consumption through solar power. This action is part of our “Entrol Zero” project, aimed at achieving complete energy self-sufficiency and eliminating CO₂ emissions before 2025.
Transitioning toward a sustainable industry
Next Generation EU funding represents an essential boost to continue advancing toward a greener and more resilient economy. This support not only backs Entrol’s commitment to sustainability but also highlights the importance of companies in the aviation sector actively committing to energy transformation.
Sustainable innovation as a cornerstone of our development
With the support of Next Generation EU and the “Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia”, Entrol will continue to strengthen its sustainable practices and work to minimize its carbon footprint. Every step in innovation brings us closer to a sustainable future for our industry.
