Madrid, October 27th, 2025
Entrol, the manufacturer of EASA and FAA certified FNPT, FTD, and FFS flight simulators, announces the sale of an H135 FTD Level 3 helicopter simulator to the Royal Thai Air Force. This agreement marks a significant milestone, strengthening the company’s presence in the defense market and the Asia-Pacific region.
The simulator’s final acceptance test (FAT) is scheduled for December 2025 at entrol’s facilities in Madrid, with its delivery and installation in Thailand to be completed during the first quarter of 2026.
A high-fidelity solution for mission training
The core of the simulator is an exact replica of the Airbus H135 T3H cockpit, featuring a configuration tailored to that of the Royal Thai Air Force, including the Euronav 7 Digital Moving Map and a GTN 750 Xi. The cockpit, which includes windows for greater immersion, is designed to precisely replicate the pilots’ operational environment.
The visual system will be spherical, offering an extremely wide and realistic field of view, which is fundamental for mission training. The visual database will include strategic locations to the Royal Thai Air Force’s mission, with detailed representations of helipads, buildings and ground references.
Equipped for complex mission training
Certified as FTD Level 3, this device will allow the Royal Thai Air Force to conduct a wide range of training scenarios that would not be possible in the real aircraft, enhancing safety and efficiency. The simulator is equipped with advanced options designed for tactical and mission training:
- Vibration system: simulates the physical sensations of the helicopter in different phases of flight.
- Enclosed Instructor Operating Station (IOS): featuring 6 screens, it offers the instructor full control and a comprehensive view of the exercise.
- Debriefing station: facilitates post-flight mission analysis and evaluation to maximize learning.

Nacho Navacerrada, entrol’s Sales Director, comments: “It is an honor that RV Connex and the Royal Thai Air Force have placed their trust in entrol for such a significant project. An H135 FTD Level 3 simulator is an extremely powerful training tool, and this device, equipped with cutting-edge technology like NVIS and the integrated Euronav 7 Digital Moving Map, will provide unprecedented realism. This project underscores our commitment to the defense sector and our ability to develop bespoke solutions for the world’s most demanding operators.”
